Gaschromatograph to measure PAN / PPN in the atmosphere. New pre-concentration unit to improve detection limit to below 10 ppt (3 Sigma).
GC-column – set-up for fast PAN/PPN-measurements and detection of MPAN. Cycle-time for PAN/PPN < 5 minutes.
The skycam-program is up-dated to remotely control new Canon Cameras: Powershot A620 and all digital EOS cameras.
New, smaller actinic receptor optics
A new, smaller actinic receptor optics available. These domes have been developed especially for aircraft application where space is limited. The outer diameter of the dome and the aluminum housing of the fiber-connection has a diameter of 25 mm. The height of the domes is approximately 26 mm. This allows significantly smaller artificial horizons.
New spectrographs of higher spectral resolution
Due to a cooperation with a second manufacturer we are able to provide new spectrographic systems to measure actinic fluxes, irradiance, direct sun and sky irradiance with a spectrl resolution of nominal 1 nm (FWHM). The detector is a non cooled CCD produced by Hamamatsu. The casings are water-tight and similar in size to what we use for the standard Zeiss-spectrographs.
New spectrometer - software
A new spectrometer - software is available which allows data processing in real-time to produce calibrated spectra and to derived data like photolysis rates.
